1. very light load use

2. multi-channel output power distribution

Attention should be paid to the power distribution between different output channels when selecting the power supply of multiple output modules. Take dual-channel products as an example, there are generally two types: one is dual-channel load balance, that is, the size of dual-channel current is the same; The other is unbalanced load, that is, the main and auxiliary circuit load current is not the same, the main circuit is large, small auxiliary circuit. For this product, it is recommended to choose the ratio of auxiliary circuit and main circuit power for 1/5 ~ 1/2, in this range of voltage stability of the auxiliary circuit can be guaranteed (can be within 5%), otherwise the auxiliary voltage will be high or low. On the other hand, if the dual load is not the same, try not to use the balanced load module power supply, because this kind of power supply is designed specifically for symmetrical load. If the load is not balanced, the auxiliary voltage accuracy is not high.


3. Try to reduce the temperature rise of the module power supply

The working temperature of the device inside the module directly affects the life of the module power supply. The lower the temperature of the device, the longer the life of the module. Under certain working conditions, the loss of module power supply is certain, but it can reduce its temperature rise by improving the heat dissipation condition of module power supply, thus greatly prolonging its service life. For example: the module power supply above 50W must install a radiator, the greater the surface area of the radiator is conducive to heat dissipation, and the installation direction of the radiator should be conducive to the natural convection of air as far as possible, in addition to the installation of the radiator power above 150W can also be installed fan forced air cooling. In addition, in the place where the ambient temperature is higher or the air circulation condition is poor, the module must be used to reduce the power consumption so as to reduce the temperature rise and prolong the service life.


4. Reasonable installation reduces mechanical stress

The lead way of module power supply is all metal needle. The module power supply and the external circuit, the metal needle and the inner circuit of module power supply are connected by welding. In some special occasions, the mechanical vibration intensity is larger, especially the high power module power supply is also equipped with a radiator, this situation is more serious.
